Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Hotel Xcaret Arte. We want our celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Vow Renewal Day, be that at the pool, by sharing a few meals and drinks together or on an excursion. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
We will be hosting a Welcome Event at Hotel Xcaret Arte on April 15, 2023. We would love for you to join us for that. You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available from April 14-18, 2023. And the Vow Renewal is on April 16th. We recommend that you arrive at least 2 days before the Celebration. But please come and stay as long as you'd like. If you'd like to extend your travel dates beyond our block, just let our travel agent know and she can request that for you. 

What should I wear to the vow renewal?
Your are welcome to wear cocktail attire to the vow renewal celebration. 

Are kids invited to the vow renewal?
Our resort is strictly for those ages 16 and up -- so it is an adults-only celebration. 

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Hotel Xcaret Arte is provided by the resort's complimentary shuttle bus. All transportation necessary for tours and excursions is also included and provided by the hotel. If you would like any private transfers or excursions, please ask our travel coordinator MarieSam for information and assistance on that request. 

Do we have to stay at the wedding resort? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
All guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our celebration. If you are not staying on-site, unfortunately you will not be able to attend the festivities. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Playa del Carmen, Mexico is typically warm and humid -- temperatures are usually in the 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with cocktail attire for the Vow Renewal Celebration.

How can travel be made easier around the resort?
For those who may need assistance moving about our wedding resort, Playa Mobility offers mobility scooters and power chairs to help ease your travels. Any equipment rented will be delivered directly to the resort and picked up from the resort upon your departure back home.
